Stage 2: Toddler Day Bed with Side Rails

Ella was SO excited about her big girl bed. She climbed up, down and laid down but got up etc. She was all over the place. When bed time rolled around and I told her we were getting in her big girl bed she said "No Mommy I want to sleep in YOUR bed." I let her have her snack in our bed but then we went to bed in her big girl bed. Hopefully, she'll start staying there.

Santa was Good!!

Just two pics….with her two “big” gifts from Santa.  He was very good to her. You would never know from looking at these that she went to the ER Christmas Eve and had pneumonia.

BTW, her Dad picked out the yellow camaro. I would have gone with something pink!! I begged for anything pink - a jeep, a mustang, an escalade but he was set on the camaro.

My Wings Are Wet

Shanna gave Ella a Silvermist costume this weekend. Jeff and Dad both "flew" Ella all around the living room. A little while later she was trying to take off with her little arms stretched out in the air. She jumped & tried so hard. Finally she glanced over her shoulder and said her wings were wet!! How cute is that! Everyone knows that fairies can't fly if their wings are wet.

while we were in SC. Have I mentioned how much I hate being cold and everything that goes with it? Glad we were there & hope this isn't any indication of what the winter is going to be like.

She Touched Her

Yep, the magic is gone - ALL GONE. She touched little Pixie our Elf on the Shelf. We started early so I guess she's done pretty good to make it 2 weeks already. Today Ella climbed on a little bookcase to grab Pixie from the top. She came running into our bedroom excited. I thought she was saying "I've got to potty" but she was really saying "I've got Pixie." So she's gone....for now. She'll be back in about a week or so...hopefully.
